acrostic
A poem in which some letters, usually the first, of the lines spell out a name or a message.
assonance
1. The repetition of vowel sounds when consonant sounds are not the same, creating partial rhyme such as late/make.
2. Etymology: "resemblance of sounds between words," from French assonance, from assonant, from Latin assonare, "respond to"; from ad, "to" + sonare, "to sound".

Its extended meaning is "rhyming of accented vowels, but not consonants".
