An organism that is the result of genetically dissimilar parents or stock; especially, offspring produced by breeding plants or animals of different varieties or breeds or species: After reading about mules for her biology class at school, Judy learned that they were hybrids, having a horse and a donkey as its parents.

A person who is a water drinker: Besides drinking a lot of tea, Bruce was also a hydropot, and always took a bottle of aqua with him wherever he went.
